Hi again! I have a question for you. My Lightcrack Batch flames used to be just the right size to fit into the Apophysis window, and they were nicely centered. I believe you have the script do this. Now it isn't working anymore, for some reason. The flames are much larger than the window and not centered. Do you have any idea what has happened or how I could restore this to the way it used to be? Of course, reducing the size and moving the flames by hand is not a problem. It was just so handy to have the script do it. :) Thanks!

Did you edit and save the script cause it should not do it.
try to remove(delete) the script and then paste it again from your download.
Or does it still do it the next time you opened Apo?
I would love to know what happened.

So, I re-downloaded the script. It's better now. It is centered left-to-right, but only about half the flame is visible in the window. (The bottom half is hidden.) The "scale" setting is 40. Actually, this looks quite nice. Maybe it's as it should be! :D

I think I have it partly figured out. When I use this script in Apo 2.08 3D, the size and positioning are good, but not when I use the script in 7x. I just hadn't realized that I had switched Apo versions. However, it should probably work properly in 7x too. I'm going to try what you suggest right now. I'll let you know what happens. :)

The script was made with Apo 7x so it should work just fine.
sometimes there is a ghost in the system.I tried with apo7x to mess it up but it works well everytime.
Love that hope flame its just great.

A ghost! Yikes! :D I still don't know what had happened when the flames were huge and way off to one corner. I hadn't edited the script. Maybe it came from running other scripts before it, which change settings. Anyway, it's nothing serious, just something I was curious about. I'm always trying to understand Apophysis better. I'm very glad you like "Hope"! Thank you!

Nice work, I got some decent results from playing with it. You should add to the comments that it will replace whatever random batch is loaded, so that if people have random flames they want to save, to make sure they save them before running the script (I had someone complain about one of my scripts because it did that, although I assumed it was common knowledge if you ran a batch script), I'll be working on adding the option to save the current batch before a batch script is ran in the next one, it gets a bit confusing after running the script after the first time over the original randoms.

Thanks for sharing with the community :)
*your preview pic should be a lot bigger so people can get a feel for what it does, just my opinion

Thanx to allow me your script to change. If we work together, all of us we could change the world together eather way Im a bitt of an anarcist In apo terms It means if you loose a param on a random script you dont need it in any way but I hear what you say.TX for making your script and making it stock......Wish you were here and Im not just talking bout Pink Floyed.
Thanx for the script input I get you buddy.
Take care

You must mean this message:
"If your file is a JPEG or PNG image of any size or GIF smaller than 150x150 pixels, the the preview file is not required. All other filetypes, however, must have a seperate preview image. The preview image must be JPEG or PNG of any size, or GIF not exceeding 150x150 pixels."

Kind of confusing at first, I thought the same thing when I first saw it.

This means you can upload any size of pics JPG, PNG, GIF (if it's a GIF smaller than 150x150 then you don't need a preview), but you CAN upload a larger than 150x150 GIF, you will just have to have a 150x150 or less pic to use as the preview (IF it is a GIF you uploaded).

All other filetypes (.zip, .rar, .scr, etc.) MUST have a preview pic to go with them.

The JPG and PNG preview can be of ANY size,
a GIF preview pic is limited to 150x150 (usually they are animations and that's why the limit).

You can use ANY size of preview pic you want provided it's NOT a GIF. I would suggest a JPG at 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768, anything larger than that takes too long to load (for me anyway since I'm on dialup, I wouldn't wait for a 2000x2000 preview to load) but those sizes would work well enough to have your preview collage in them large enough to see what the script creates.

I'm not sure how you did your collage but if you use Photoscape (a free graphic program, the link is in my journal) it's easy to create the collage by using the "combine" option. Then just use whatever filesize the collage comes out as (meaning it doesn't have to be the sizes I suggested, i.e. a square preview @ 1000x1000 for example)

Hope that clears that up for you :)
